The ferry arrived on time at 15:30. The initial plan was to camp around Caen. However, the sun was shining and sunset was only at 19:50 so we decided to drive on to Rouen (260 km) to see the cathedral. Last time we had to catch the ferry to Ireland so there was not enough time. We arrived at the camping carpark on the island in the Seine close to the city center at 20:00. Tomorrow a quick cycle into town and then on our way north.

The morning cycle through the old town center were fantastic. No tourists and the first one into the cathedral. Very decorated on the outside. Tasteful on the inside. Surrounded by narrow streets with mediaeval buildings.

After the morning cycle in Rouen we drove North for 460 km. This time we took the peage (toll) highway to make more progress. We arrived in Stellendam in Zealand (NL) at a small camping in at 17:30. The sunshine was still strong so we spent our first evening having a drink outside. Not for long because it cools down fast (once the sun disappeared).
