In total we drove some 6,400 km in 29 days. We concentrated this trip on Andalusia in the South of Spain. The 400+ years of Moorish influence on the architecture is refreshing and new if you are used to the gothic cathedrals of Northern Europe. Compared to the silk road cities we visited in Uzbekistan the buildings were less opulent but still dominated by the intricate patterns. The next trip to Spain will be to the North West.
