Always before leaving Jamaliah makes sure everything is packed nicely in the suitcases. This is stressful work and asks for concentration. Fortunately she had a tennis match in the morning to get the stress out of her system. In the meantime Rudy put the bicycle carrier on Tasman to our exchange partners could take bikes with them..
It was then by train to Schiphol and sleeping in Citizen M. Tomorrow off to Sydney.
The Singapore Airways flight had extra leg room and a free seat between us. No complaints here. Not even the 12 hr flight. Nice views of the alps and later over India at night. We maneuvered around Ukraine and the Middle East. Now 4 more hours before boarding the next plane.
After a long flight we arrived in Sidney at 22:30. Bought 2 e-sims for the phone. Pulled some money out of the teller and took the shuttle bus to the hotel. (Sounds easy but it took at least an hour). In the morning we met Dave and Christine whom stayed in the same hotel. Dave went to pick us his car Rudy walked in the other direction to pick up the camper. Together we drove south to the venue for our Ebury street Reunion.
I have added some pictures of the camper. It is larger inside then you would expect. The bed is wide and the kitchen area large enough to move around while the other person (Rudy) sits on the bench and writes the blog.
