From Lightning Ridge we drove further North through (harvested) cotton country for the rest of the day with a lunch stop in St. George. Roma, where we are staying next to the Lawn bowls club, makes its income from the nearby oil fields (Santos). The city appears a lot richer than the ones we drove through up till now. The sculpture pictures and the bottle trees were taken this morning in Roma before we left for Carnarvon NP.
