We departed at 8:45am for the long drive out of Moscow going South East. The drive was eventless. The road was good and the drivers mostly behaved well. To keep Rudy going, Jamaliah read out loud the history of Russia so the time flew by and around 17:30 we had done over 670 km and settled down for the night at a truck stop near Penza.
